About The National Blessing Day
Founded in 2023 by two national ministries, StrongFamilies and Legacy Minded Men, the National Blessing DayTM exists to help each of us take a powerful and practical step to heal a generation – and a nation – desperate for authentic love and acceptance. By giving someone we love our Blessing, we are able to meet a deep, critical need that each of us has: The need to be seen, valued, and authentically loved by someone else.
For us, we believe this starts by receiving God’s blessing. And it is through His love, and the blessing and sacrifice of His Son Jesus, that we are able to truly bless others. Even when relationships have become strained, or seem to be beyond repair.
We all know the immense struggles that our children, and our nation, are facing today. Our country needs Jesus. And one way to show His incredible love, and break through barriers in a powerful and life-changing way is to give someone we love our Blessing.
The Blessing isn’t a formula or something that can only be done once a year. Every day can be a day where you use one, or all 5 elements of the Blessing to impact a life. But to bring a focus to our need to bless, one day a year, on the Sunday before Thanksgiving (this year November 24, 2024) we ask churches, parents, individuals, leaders, and every believer to choose at least ONE PERSON to bless. By following the Biblical steps of The Blessing®, you can truly change a life – and give someone the gift of your, and the Lord’s authentic love and acceptance. We hope you join us.
